🌟Discover the Joy of Dancing Both Roles in Just 4 Sessions🌟
with Yelizaveta 🤩
Whether you primarily lead or follow, learning the basics of the opposite role can take your experience at the milonga to the next level. Not only does it improve the mechanics of your primarily role (leading to more quality dances), but it also allows you to keep dancing regardless of gender balance! Everyone wins!
If you’ve ever felt intimidated,
embarrassed, or hesitant about learning the opposite role, this is your golden opportunity. In just 4 personalized 1:1 sessions with me, you'll master the basics and unlock the confidence to dance socially in both roles.
Why Learn the Opposite Role?
Leaders, you will enhance your skills by delving into following techniques, making you lighter and more dynamic on your feet (because yes, most of the time you’re too heavy when you follow!).
Followers, you will expand your creative range and musicality by learning how to ground and hold your frame when you dance (yes, you will actually be able to show the musical details you’ve been hearing!).
What Sets Me Apart 😉
With over a decade of experience in tango, I actively dance both roles at the milonga, offering a unique perspective. My extensive background in body mechanics and movement, coupled with over 20 years of yoga expertise, ensures you receive posture alignment corrections that enhance balance and connection with your partners.
Fast-Track Your Learning:
Skip the frustration. These four sessions are designed to rapidly immerse you in the opposite role, providing essential vocabulary, correct mechanics, and posture alignment.
Why Dancing Both Roles Matters:
Becoming a dual-role dancer isn't just about having a good time; it's about contributing to a more inclusive tango community. By breaking traditional gender roles, you play a vital role in righting the gender imbalance.

What People Are Saying
“I’ve taken workshops, technique and a privates with Yelizaveta. Enthusiastic, supportive, and with great attention to the alignment details to become a great dancer. She is the best resource I have found to not just learn about tango, but to work through the steps to transform your body to really dance tango. She provides no shortcuts because there are none. Instead she is the real deal, a magnificent dancer with the musicality and refined body awareness to ensure that the time you are able to put in is most effectively directed towards a great experience for yourself and your partner.”

“Yelizaveta creates an environment of learning that invokes the Spirit of tango as experienced through the imagination and the senses. Participants are engaged not just as students, but as co-creators and fellow artists of the dance. What I learned about the essence of tango while working with Yelizaveta has made me a better dancer in tango and in life!”
— KATIE ROEDA, PORTLAND, OR
“I highly recommend Yelizaveta’s classes. The movements as well as the explanations, visualization and understanding of how each movement connects to tango movements has been invaluable. I can definitely feel the difference in my body and even though I have a lot to work on, I now have the tools and basic understanding of how my body should engage and move. I believe that any level tanguero(a) can benefit from this instruction. ”
